Steve Nash to the Lakers, Wait What?

Update: The Suns will receive first round picks in both 2013 and 2015 while also receiving second-round picks in 2013 and 2014, Nash will not be wearing number 13 anymore, Wilt Chamberlain wore that number and it has since been retired.

This is really shocking news, Steve Nash has been traded to the Lakers in return for multiple future draft picks.

Nash was never really fond on going to the Raptors even though there were in the race for the all-star point guard, Nash wanted to stay closer to home in Phoenix and will get his wish as he will only be a hop, skip, and a jump away in Hollywood with Kobe and the gang. The Knicks were also in the hunt for Nash but they have fallen short yet again.

The Lakers had to pull the trigger on something because they need to try to win a championship while Kobe is still one of the best players in the league. Last seasons Laker team was far from a championship caliber team.

Two great point guards now play in the same building regularly, Chris Paul for the Los Angeles Clippers and Steve Nash of the Los Angeles Lakers.

I never would have thought in a million years Steve Nash would ever be decked out in purple and gold, but I guess I have to get used to it now.

Knicks once again fail to get their man. Happiest man in New York, Jeremy Lin. They could have used Nash as well but much like LA, how Nash meshes with the ball dominating ways of another superstar is an issue for sure. Maybe this is the best for the Knicks, who knows? I guess now they get to really see what they have with Linsanity. Also, you think you could check out my blog cuz I’d love to hear what you have to say http://chrisross91.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/head-over-head-for-steve-nash/

good points, I really think Steve Nash would not have gelled to well with the Knicks. The Knicks have problems gelling right now, and I’m not sold on Carmelo
