It all started with a triple to lead off the night for the Angels Sunday night against the Texas Rangers, two batters later Albert Pujols doubled to left field scoring Mike Trout for the 14th consecutive game.

With Mike Trout’s Nike cleat touching home plate for the 14th consecutive game he set a franchise record and an American League rookie record.

The 20-year-old Trout passed Jim Edmonds for the franchise record, who scored in 13 straight game for the halos in 1995.
